Research plans

This year’s post-SDD round (autumn 2023 / spring 2024), where heads of department and research programme directors at the school meet to build bridges between departments and programmes on the basis of the SDDs, has just ended. In this connection, it was found that many colleagues need structures and templates that can help them plan their research (time). Research plans, time management and a sustainable application culture were topics that were mentioned across the entire school.

On this page, we have collected (so far) three examples of a research plan, each with a different approach: One focuses on future ambitions and tasks, one focuses on general ambitions, and one focuses on relevant grants.

The templates are intended as a voluntary tool for inspiration and should not be confused with the research plan you are expected to prepare when applying for a position at the school.
